I was soooo excited when mama contacted me about being pregnant with baby Willow. I photographed her big sister, Eleanor, when she was a newborn and for her one year cake smash session. I LOVE watching your families grow and continuing to be involved in creating memories for you. And seeing your big become a big sibling, is sooo cute!

Mama booked a full newborn session which included naked (table poses like above), wrapped / props and family / sibling.

Little Willow gave me so much more than I really thought she was going to at the beginning. She was super touchy and did not like being moved BUT I was able to move her slowly and allow her the chance to settle into each pose. There is a solid difference between a pain and an uncomfortable cry when it comes to newborns. If a baby is in pain, I will NEVER EVER continue with that pose. If baby is just mad at me and needs some time to settle, I will always give baby that time to settle. :) And usually, the result of allowing them time to settle, is magic.

And if they dont ever settle, I wrap them up and we can create magic with wrapped poses too!

Overall, we were able to get a beautiful gallery for mama to choose her images from. I cannot wait to watch her continue to grow over the next year!
